Ada industri yang corporate blogging ini lebih penting dari social media. Ada juga industri yang peranan corporate blogging tidak sepenting social media. Jadi beda-beda sekali untuk tiap industri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Jadi, lebih baik mana antara membuat corporate blogging fokus di PR saja?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bukan lebih baik yang mana, karena dua-duanya itu perlu. Customer itu biasanya discover brand kita antara dua hal ini: antara dia googling lalu menemukan konten kita di sana, atau dia kebetulan baca soal brand kita di media lain, nah itu lebih ke PR kan. Jadi PR sendiri ini sebenarnya akan bisa untuk meng-amplify konten internal dari perusahaan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jadi misal journey-nya orang tahu kita dari hasil PR kita di media lain. Setelahnya dia akan googling tentang kita, lalu menemukan website kita. Nah kalau web kita ternyata kosongan tidak ada konten, kan jadi hampir tidak mungkin untuk orang itu jadi leads kita. Jadi sebaiknya PR dengan content marketing seperti corporate blogging itu harus jalan bersamaan, saling mendukung satu sama lain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tapi misal kita balik, kita cuma melakukan blogging, tapi doing zero PR, itu juga akan kurang efektif. Karena content marketing kita jadi kurang teramplify. Kecuali kalau blog kita bisa menang di search engine misalnya.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Dalam content marketing dan terutama blogging, apakah hanya SEO yang matters? Atau lebih baik fokus ke quality saja?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kita harus fokus kedua2nya. Apakah SEO matters? Tentu saja. Karena organic search itu berharga sekali. Kalau sekali kita bikin dan berhasil, kita tinggal menikmati hasil trafficnya. Tapi, kita harus paham kalau value dari traffic itu beda-beda.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Misal kita pakai case study perusahaan yang target marketnya UMKM. Lalu dia dapat 5 traffic tapi yang buka anak kuliahan semua, dengan 1 traffic tapi yang buka UMKM. Itu nilai yang diterima perusahaan masih lebih baik cuma 1 traffic tapi UMKM, meskipun jumlahnya kalah. Kadang digital marketer terjebak dengan quantity, mengincar angka traffic yang besar tanpa mempedulikan audiensnya. Tapi sayangnya meskipun trafficnya besar tapi yang datang bukan audiens kita ya percuma, malah bisa dibilang buang duit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jadi iya, search engine penting sekali. Tapi harus ingat, meskipun kita bikin konten dengan harapan menang di search engine pun, kita tetap harus buat konten tersebut untuk audiens kita.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kalau kita bikin konten tapi tidak menyasar audiens kita, misalnya perusahaan aplikasi kasir membuat konten yang sama sekali tidak relevan, membuat konten soal sepeda gunung misalnya, dia akan dapat traffic orang-orang yang suka sepeda gunung, tapi traffic itu tidak berguna untuk bisnis dia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jadi meskipun kita ingin menang di search engine, harus keep in mind jangan sampai membuat konten yang tidak nyambung dengan audiens kita.
